							| ALBUM NOTES |
							| The inclusion of queer individuals in music education and performance yields significant benefits not only for these individuals but also for their peers, educators, and the broader community. Music, long regarded as a safe space for many marginalized communities, offers a supportive environment where queer individuals can explore and affirm their identities (Cayari, 2019; Hennessy, 2012; Palkki, 2020; Roseth, 2019; Southerland, 2018). This project seeks to elevate the works of queer composers, providing a platform for voices that have historically been silenced. As a queer tuba player, I am excited to highlight the talents of 20th-century queer composers through this initiative, which includes four commissioned works and premiere recordings of each composition.
