I am thrilled to present my debut solo album, a heartfelt journey through some of my favorite music, featuring two world premieres! Recorded in the vibrant Legacy Hall at Columbus State Universitys Schwob School of Music, this album captures the beauty, humor, and excitement contained within the works of these wonderful composers!
The music on this album not only highlights established repertoire but also includes new compositions that add depth and dimension to the solo trombone canon. Each piece is infused with personal significance, from the two original commissions to the classic Beach Boys cover. The namesake of the album, Three Portraits, reflects the unique personalities of my children and brings their characters to life through sound.
